David has focused on property work since the start of his career. He became a partner in 1980, and led the property team in Dunedin for many years before moving to the Wanaka office.
He specialises in local government property work and all aspects of conveyancing, small business and commercial leasing, and trusts and estate administration.
Whether it's mountain biking, walking, or dealing with clients, David likes to see things through to the end.
"Working with the support of a highly qualified and experienced team ensures that my clients get my total attention and commitment," he says. "I see a transaction right through, and that's important.
"I enjoy developing ongoing personal relationships with my clients. I see myself helping people get on. I like dealing with people who want to advance themselves. This, and the variety of work I cover for my clients is stimulating, enjoyable, and rewarding.
"As a firm, we're user-friendly and efficient and our clients can trust us. Work is done well and our clients get good value."
David's had some notable achievements out of the office. In his younger days he climbed Mount Cook twice, and Mount Aspiring six times. While he doesn't
aspire to such dizzy heights quite so much these days, he still loves the outdoors, continuing to sail, walk, mountain bike, and water-ski with his family.
